This classic model is carved from one piece of walnut wood and features hornbeam wood incrustation. The Gagripsh restaurant which is one of the symbols of the city of Gagra in Abkhazia, is engraved on one side. The wooden building with the clock was brought disassembled from Scandinavia in 1902. The reverse side of the backgammon is engraved with the mountains of Abkhazia.
This model is completely handcrafted. The surface is treated with natural beeswax. The hinges and locks are made of cast bronze. The entire playing field is hand carved out of one piece of wood.
